Freeware Windows Applications
StayInformed is an application which will keep you
up to date on the latest news. It collects news items from various sources, including audio and video, and displays them for you.
For more information, see the help page. The latest version is 1.3, updated on 2/29/2008.
Version 1.2
-
The layout has been changed to reduce the amount of space taken up by the
sources display and the log window has been removed. The audio and video sources
lists now have permanent space instead of being in the tabs at the lower right
corner.
-
The auto purge option is gone. Auto purge is always on. This option was
confusing and not very useful.
-
Live Video has changed to attempt to work around a problem. See the Live Video
section in the help file for details.
-
An option to check for program updates has been added.
Version 1.3
-
Corrects a bug in version 1.2 where sometimes adding a new source from the list resulted in an error.
